Pesem upora je originalno skladba, ki jo je za nas napisala Ksenija Jus, kantavtorica in članica zbora. Prvič smo jo zapele na Ksenjinem dogodku v Španskih borcih – Svetilniku hrepenenja.

Sprva smo jo pele po melodiji, ki sta jo skupaj zaranžirali Mateja Mavri in avtorica, vendar ga od proslave na predvečer obletnice ustanovitve OF/ob dnevu upora proti okupatorju, pojemo v verziji Draga Ivanuše. Pesem je postala himna zbora.

Pesem so označili za himno demonstracij, ki se odvijajo proti pokvarjenim političnim elitam in drugim nepravilnostim v Sloveniji.

Med tihim šepetom človeških laži
kot steber svobode ki v tem žari
sledimo korakom upora duha
kljubujemo času sodobnega sveta.
Bitke pogumnih in srčnih ljudi
za nas niso zgodbe pozabljenih dni
za njih naj naša pesem živi
za njih zdaj k soncu mi dvigamo pesti.

Dvignimo glave za vse ki trpe
podajmo roke vsem ki hrepene
misli premnogih ki sejejo strah
spreminjamo v barve vseh človeških ras.

Pesem upora naj širi svoj glas
sanje milijonov naj vzklijejo v klas
svoboda je misel posebna kot Kras
svoboda je ogenj ki greje naš obraz.

as a beacon of freedom that shines in the gloom
the spirit resists as we follow its path
to counter the times of the modern world

Struggles of people courageous and brave
are not just the tales of forgotten days
for them our song forever shall live
for them we shall raise our fists to the sky

Let's raise our heads for all who feel pain
let's offer our hand to all who have dreams
the thoughts of all those spreading the fear
we change into colour of every human race.

Let the voice of resistance enter each song
let the dreams of the millions grow into wheat
freedom is a thought as special as Karst
freedom is a fire that warms up our hearts.

Struggles of people courageous and brave
